Library, listening, three languages, and your account — in brief.

How do I read a book?

Open Library, choose a volume, then Read the text. Pages turn with arrows or ← → on a keyboard.

How do languages work?

Use the globe in the header (or the language cards on Home). The whole site — menus, reader, listen, quiz, and search — follows that language.

How do I listen?

Open Listen, pick a volume, or open Stories for short narrated chapters.

Do I need an account?

Reading the public library is free without sign-in. Sign in to save highlights, sync progress, and take the quiz.

Where is the phone app?

The same library is in the Android app on Google Play. Look for “Get the app” in the footer.

How can I support this work?

The encyclopedia is free. Write via Contact if you wish to help with corrections or digitisation.
